“Miss, your food is ready. That will be twenty dollars,” the Korean woman said to her. For a second, Delishus forgot that she was in the food restaurant while fantasizing about her first time with King. She was soaking wet between her legs at just the thought of him.

She smiled and handed the money to her.“Thank you!” she said, walking out of the store. For the last few days, it had been peaceful and stress free. She wanted to keep it that way. Germane was making sure she had everything she wanted. Tonight she wanted to get out and party though, so she dialed Toya to see what she was doing. She pressed the button to unlock her Chevy Avalanche.

“Toya!” she said once her friend answered from the other end.

“What’s up, girl? What are we doing tonight?” Toya asked.

“I don’t know but I am feeling a girl’s night out. Let’s go to the Velvet Rope,” she suggested.

“Okay I’m down,” Toya responded.

“Cool, I’ll meet you there. You won’t believe what happened to me yesterday when I went out on a date with Germane,” Delishus told her.

“Girl, hold it until we get together. I’ll get ready now and see you there in a couple hours,” she replied. Delishus agreed and disconnected the call. She drove down the street, getting a text from Germane saying that he missed her and couldn’t wait to see her again. She smiled and attempted to respond but frowned once King’s name flashed on her screen. Tempted not to answer him, she clicked IGNORE. He called right back, despite her declining his call.

“Boy, if you don’t quit calling my damn phone! What you want?” she answered.

“Baby, please forgive me! I am so sorry if I hurt you. I never meant to. I really like you Delishus. In fact, I think I love you and I want to be with you. Every day, all I do is think about you. Just give me some time to end what I have with my baby mama then I will be all yours,” King rambled.

“I don’t know about that King. I have strong feelings for you too, but you cut me pretty deep. A wound like the one you gave my heart, takes time to heal.” She was already getting emotional and tried desperately not to let King suck her back into his games.

“Trust me baby, I know how you feel. But if you will give me another chance, I promise I can leave her alone and be there with you. My kids are all I care about and she’s threatened to take them away from me if I ever fuck with another woman. Please just don’t shut me out of your life, okay? I can’t take it,” King confessed. He was laying it on thick, but he was so serious about his feelings for her.

The sincerity in his voice and him saying that he loved her, made her soften up a little bit. She sent a text to Germane before responding.“We'll see King.
